Sunday is the Sabbath, a day of rest. So I want to invite you to do that today. I mean really rest.
Rest Physically: Take a nap for goodness sakes! I am. Yup, I know there’s laundry. It will be there tomorrow. I promise.
Rest Mentally: Turn off the phone, put away the to-do list, don’t check your email, power down the computer (After you read this post, of course!)
Rest Emotionally and Spriritually: Put away the negative thoughts, forget the harsh email you received (or whatever else has troubled you this week), talk to God and give Him all that junk. Go take a walk and enjoy His Creation. Write down 5 things you are thankful for.
